Women's Shorts
Inseams typically range from 3 to 5 inches for athletic wear.
Men's Shorts
Typically run from 7 to 11 inches in length for optimal fit.
Youth's shorts
Tend to have an inseam between 5 and 7 inches for comfort.
Choosing the Perfect Inseam: A Guide for Everyone
- It's important to understand how inseam length is measured. Many people think that the inseam starts at the hip, but it is actually the measurement from the bottom of the short up to the place that the left leg and right leg join at the groin. Inseams range from 3 inches to longer than 11 inches.
- How long do you want your shorts? The longer the inseam, the longer the custom short length will be. If you are totally unsure, we suggest pulling out your favorite pair of mesh shorts and measuring! Go with something close to that measurement to ensure that you will like your personalized shorts.
