Frequently Asked Questions
A traditional snapback trucker cap has a mid to high profile cap height on the front as well as a structured, more rigid front. A dad cap will have a low profile, unstructured or flimsy front. With the popular demand of both, you can now get hats that are a low profile, unstructured front, with a snapback!
The only difference is the type of adjustable closure. A standard dad cap will have a tri-glide buckle closure where as the items on this page have a snapback. Both are typically preferred over velcro (or hook and loop) because your hair does not get stuck in it!
These low profile snapbacks will offer the shortest distance between the bill and the top of the hat. They will fit snug on the head and not stick up.
