Are you wondering how much custom T-shirts cost? Can you afford custom decorated tees for your company, school, or event? The answer is most likely YES, but (always a but, I know) there are a lot of variables that can affect your bottom line. Here is a top ten list of the most common variables that affect your custom T-shirt price:
1. The quantity of your order: The greater the quantity, the lower the cost per shirt.
2. The brand and style of shirt you choose: Cost, quality, and fit vary greatly from one shirt to the next. For example, you are likely going to pay more for a Nike T-shirt than you are for Champion T-shirt.
3. The fabric type: Tri-blend tees (the super soft tees that have become highly popular) are typically more expensive than a 100-percent cotton tee,
4. The number of colors in your design: A single color print requires only one screen; a multi-color print requires multiple screens.
5. Multiple print locations. Adding a back or sleeve print (or both) will increase the cost of each shirt (although we think it’s well worth it!)
6. The ink color(s) you choose: Standard, in-stock ink colors are more cost-effective than custom blended, metallic, glow-in-the-dark, or other specialty inks.
7. Personalization: Individual names and numbers will add to each shirt’s cost.
8. Turnaround time: Rush fees will affect the bottom line.
9. Shirt size and color: Unusual colors and extended sizes may cost a little more per shirt.
10. Print method. If you order 6 or more items, screen-printing is generally the cheapest option, but some very intricate designs may benefit from a digital print. Similarly embroidered designs also typically cost more than screen-printed ones.
Broken Arrow pricing: What you see is what you get!
Unlike other custom screen-printers, we never charge set-up fees. The price quote on the screen is the price. Standard shipping is free. The only exception is whether your state charges sales tax, which will be added if required.
On average, a nice quality, custom T-shirt from Broken Arrow cost between $8 and $20 per shirt. For example, 100 Gildan black T-Shirts with a three-color print will cost you approximately $8.50 each.
